Last Days of Second Grade!

Can you believe it?  The school year is nearly over! We have worked so hard this year and are busy finishing up.  While we will continue with our studies, we have a few special ways we will be celebrating the last week of school:

Monday, 6/4:

We will be enjoying the Silver Spur talent show!

Tuesday, 6/5:

We will be having special activities all day to celebrate how much we’ve learned this year!

Please bring an extra paper or reusable bag to school.  We will be taking home many of our consumable workbooks today.

Wednesday, 6/6:

We will have a special “read-in” afternoon.  Please have your child bring in a few favorite books to enjoy.  They can also bring in a stuffed animal “reading buddy” or a comfy pillow/cushion to cuddle up with in the afternoon as we relax and read!

We will be taking home the last of our classroom supplies.

Thursday, 6/7: Last Day of School!  We will have our class party from about 11:00-12:00.  Please make sure to have your child bring his/her backpack today!  I will be sending home your child’s report card and some end of the year mementos.

Thank you to all of the Room 6 families for all your time and support this school year!  I wish you all a happy summer!

Love,

Mrs. Nguyen
