CAASPP
Dear Parents/Guardians:
The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is the California state academic testing program. CAASPP is a system used by staff to ensure that all students are making progress and that they ultimately leave high school ready for college and career. The CAASPP Summative Test is configured into the California Dashboard, which shows how districts and schools are performing across multiple measures.
Students in grades 3-8, and 11 at all PVPUSD school sites, will take the CAASPP tests in English Language Arts/Literacy (ELA) and Mathematics. Students in grades 5, 8 and 11 will also take the CA Science Test.
