The theme of this year's annual PTA Reflections program is "I Am Hopeful Because.."
We’d like to encourage Silver Spur students to participate! PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program designed to motivate artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the 2023-2024 school year theme.
This year’s theme, “I Am Hopeful Because......” is a question every child can find value in answering through art in any one of six categories: dance choreography, film production, music composition, literature, photography, and visual arts.
Artworks are submitted first to Silver Spur PTA, where they are recognized and celebrated in a gallery-style (online) exhibition. They are judged by a panel of experienced local artists on skill (25%), creativity (25%), and interpretation (50%) of the theme within five grade-level divisions. A non-judged Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs.
The Reflections is 100% digital. Submissions will be uploaded via a Google entry form and all work will be included in an online gallery.
