Silver Spur’s Running Club is a free program for 1st through 5th grade students. We meet twice a week on Mondays and Fridays from 7:30-8:15am. We begin with a warm up and stretches and then we hit the track! Students go at their own pace and are encouraged to work towards their own personal best. We begin the year motivating beginning runners to “run one lap then walk one” and to continue at that pace for as long as they can. Then we build up to running two laps and walking one and so on. We finish our workouts with some sprints and cool down stretches. Silver Spur’s Running Club is a happy and healthy place to start your day!
