Birthday Boy Ribsy and I set out a clean measuring container in an unobstructed area of the garden last night at 7:20 p.m.

We collected the container at 7 a.m.

That's how many hours and minutes of rain collection?

We collected about 600 mL of water (more than half a quart).

Now we will find a magnet to mine for meteorites. I sure hope we find one for our collection!

If you find magnetic grit on your magnet, put it on a piece of paper or index card. Place clear tape over it, to save it. You probably have a meteorite fragment. Label your sample with the date. Save it for sharing :)
