Assignments: March 23- 27, 2020

Dear Parents,

Here we are, one week in. It’s still surreal isn’t it? I hope you and your family are all healthy and enjoying being together. Going to school on Friday was so strange, and I was so sorry I couldn’t see any of you! Thank you so much Mr. Allen for being there to help assist with the picking up of materials !   I was so happy to see almost everyone was able to come in and get their materials and sign up for a Chromebook if you needed one. Thank you for the sweet surprise notes and gifts! You are so dear and I miss you all so much! I want to wish a belated Happy Birthday last Thursday to Tyler and Mia O!  I’m sorry I missed your special day!     I didn’t get my planbook  with the date until Friday, but this wish comes with love and a big hug to both of you! And to our remaining Star Students, we will figure out a way to have your special week for you too!

We  teachers are learning how to “Zoom”, and are meeting as a staff tomorrow to learn how we are going to utilize this cool  new technology and others as we move forward. It is a learning curve for all of us and we thank you for your patience and cooperation as we adjust to all of these new changes. Please bear with us as we embark on this new journey through uncharted waters, mindful that we are all working very hard, learning to navigate through this new system together, creating  successful learning experiences for all of our students. Hopefully this is not all too overwhelming. We want to make sure that you have some great academic resources. We will update as needed and are flexible as this is all new to us as well. Thank you for your patience and support as we jump in together, and let me know if you have any questions. Be well, stay healthy, and give your little one a hug from me!

Here are the lessons for this week. These are some of the things we would be doing in class every day. I will be posting this Edlio as well.

Please follow these general instructions for our weekly lessons each week. Collect each week’s work and save it to turn in when we return to school. It would be helpful if you staple each weeks work together into a packet labeled with the weeks dates on the front.  We may be changing these instructions after we all meet as a staff tomorrow, so I’ll keep you posted as things change.  Thank you!

Many of our lessons will be accessed online through our district portal . Please go to

portal. pvpusd.net  and enter your child’s username and password to enter the portal.
