FLIPGRID
Today we are going to begin by looking at some mind blowing phenomenon!

I want you to start by thinking about the size of our universe.

How long do you think it would take to get from one side of the universe to the other?
How big is the sun?
How does the size of the earth compare to the sun and the other planets?
How long would it take to get from the earth to the sun?
What is the size of our solar system (the sun, the earth, and the other 7 planets) compared to the universe?

Today you will use Flipgrid to wonder about these questions.

Once you have accessed the Flipgrid page, read the two questions you will be answering and then watch the two videos.

Start with Crash Course Kids first, and then watch "Mind Blowing!..."

After you have watched them, create a Flipgrid video response to the two questions using complete sentences. Scroll down the Flipgrid page just below the two video links and use the button that says "Record a Response". Practice before you post!

Last night, I emailed you all the link to the Flipgrid to keep it private for just our 5th grade.
Use that link to access it.
