For our Zoom class at 9:00 AM this morning (I sent out an email about this yesterday)
you need to print out the pages found below.
We will be doing the first steps of a lab together.
You will be able to do the lab yourself if you have the materials at your house
OR
you can watch the video of me doing the lab which I have posted below.
We will finish the lab together in the two videos.

Conservation of Mass Lab Wrap-Up
Today we will wrap up our conservation of mass lab.
If you wish to do the lab yourself,
start the video
and
follow the instructions.
If you can do the lab and have the materials listed below then you should do it! It's a fun one.
If you don't have these things then I'll be doing the lab for you in today's video so you can see what happens.
If you want to do the lab yourself you will need several easily found items...
1) A little less than 1/4 cup of baking soda
2) About 1 cup of white vinegar
3) Two disposable cups, large enough to easily hold the vinegar in one and the baking soda in the other.
4) A 1-gallon, zip locking, clear, plastic bag
I HIGHLY suggest that you do this lab either in your kitchen sink OR outside on the grass or somewhere you can clean up. I've never had this experiment make a mess but there is the possibility that the product of your two reactants may escape the plastic bag. Fair warning!! :)
Once you have gathered all of your materials together start the video below.
