Set up your science journal for this chapter of the book
"The Solar System"

You should have a table of contents page, for chapter 6, at the front of your journal and a title page at the beginning of the pages you will use for this lesson.

You may begin the pagination for this new section with page 1.

When you are done open your science journal to the first empty page in this new section and entitle it
"Notes, Chapter 6, Lesson 1".

Take good, detailed notes on each of the 3 sections in this lesson.

Remember, when you take notes you should be writing down the following things in an organized way;
the way that I taught you.

1) Vocabulary and italicized words defining them in your own words.
2) Any other information about the vocabulary and italicized terms that tells more about them.
3) Any additional information from that section of the lesson that answers the question in blue at the top.
4) Simply drawn sketches of any diagrams or illustrations that also answer the question.

Look back to previous chapters in your journal if you have forgotten how your notes should be organized.

I will be asking you to show your notes to me in a Flipgrid that you will create at the end of this week.
Make sure your notes are well done please.
