For our Zoom class at 2:00 this afternoon you need to print out the following pages.
We will be doing the first steps of a lab.
You will be able to do the lab yourself on Friday when I post the YouTube video for you to complete it
OR
you can watch the video of me doing the lab on Friday
and we will finish it together in the video.
Either way, you will need to watch my video on Friday in order to complete the assignment.

Today, take thorough notes on chapter 8, Lesson 1 "Chemical Reactions".

Chemical Changes vs. Physical Changes
Watch the video below that explains and demonstrates the difference between
physical and chemical changes.
THEN, in your science journal on the next empty page,
write a two-paragraph essay about the differences.
Each paragraph should be 4-5 sentences long.
A good essay will also have a short, introductory paragraph.
Paragraph #1 should be about how you know something is a a chemical change. Give at least two examples of a chemical change.
Paragraph #2 should be about how you know something is a physical change.
